“Everything has the ability to be improved in some way to suit the current environment; materials, construction, shape and function alter with time. I have seen knitting as something that is only of interest to the elderly women’s, especially during winter. They spend enormous hours under the sun and just knit. In past knitting meant only sweaters to me, made by my mother and aunt, to protect us from winter cold. It is indeed, for the purpose to save money, but more than that it was love for the family. As a designer my role is to combine art, science, and technology to create new products that other people can use. Conceptualize and evaluate ideas, turning them into tangible products. Looking at various things in everyday life, I often see possible ideas for these improvements and analyse their current design.”
